If we can broadcast what's happening here to media outlets across state lines, then we can get the word out and bring national attention to the situation here.
However, this is assuming that we can do so without Retrospec's interference. These guys are packing some heavy technology. We need to recruit everyone you listed there to help.
If we fail to get the word out, at least we'll know just how big this conspiracy really is and proceed from there.
Either way, they're going to jail.

Side note that that's interesting, the American perspective on it. American involvement ended due to casualties, domestic media turning against their own troops. I could quibble about Japan's perspective, but maybe this isn't the time.
