Ah, I remember that all too fondly. [He mutters with a hint of bitterness in his tone.] I can get why you would pop the question now.

Especially since tomorrow isn't guaranteed to any of us but are you certain about all this?

[Fynn settles down upon the chair across from him.]

[He responds with no hesitation.]

Certain? I've never been more certain about anything.

[He pauses, looking him over.]

I know it's unexpected, but it was to the both of us as well. But it feels right, and I can't imagine a future where she's not at my side.

Then that's all I need to hear.

[Fynn is trying his damnest not to grin like a total idiot but he is. He's proud of Ardyn, very proud. This does feel right. Grell seems decent enough and she would be a welcome addition to the family. Though, Fynn certainly hopes the pair tie the knot sooner than later.]

[Again, he's only kidding, of course. But his younger brother's enthusiasm really is endearing, and he appreciates as a brother would.]
